A chronicle of the devastatingly difficult lives of Japanese Host Men. We are all implicated by the psychosexual persona of the film. The questions arise, what is sex? What is money and sex? How can we characterize the sexuality of the men in this film? Ultimately it seems useless to try thinking about the film and useless to resist thinking about this film. Are these host men so sexually traumatized by their work that they can no longer trust? Considering the works of Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari (or even Freud) we know that implicit in every social interaction is a desirous, sexual component. To what extent are we, all of us, then prostitutes? What is sex? What was sex? What will sex be? The Great Happiness Space of our social imagining? Then the real question--if the world is filled with pimps and hoes

which one are you?
